Survey

Your input is crucial to understand if the mapped focus areas and local priorities reflect the best opportunities for nature recovery in your area. Take a few moments to fill out our survey and share your thoughts. Together, we can make a positive impact to help nature recover and protect our climate for the future.

This survey forms part of the public consultation on the Local Nature Recovery Toolkit. You can also provide feedback via the interactive map.

Priorities and measures

Do you think the priorities shown/listed for nature recovery in the West of England are the most important for the region?

Are there any priorities that you think are missing for the region or you think should not be included, and why?

Do you agree that the priorities and measures in your local area are the most important ones locally?

Are there any priorities that you think are missing locally or you think should not be included, and why?

Thinking about how the priorities are achieved, both regionally and locally, are there any delivery measures that you think could help that are not currently included?

Presentation of priorities and measures

Is it clear which are the most important actions to take for nature recovery in your area, and across the Combined Authority?

If not, how we could make this clearer?

Are the narratives for the ‘sub-areas used to group priorities’ helpful in explaining what is needed for nature recovery locally, and why it is important?

If not, is there anything else that would help you to understand what is needed for nature recovery locally and why it is important?

For built-up areas, we have used four different categories to group measures. We have used these categories so that different users will be able to easily find the most relevant measures to them. Do you agree that these are the correct categories?

If not, what changes would you suggest?

Priority species

Given the criteria for selecting priority species, are there any species that you think are missing from the priority list, both regionally and locally?

Are there any species on the priority list that you do not agree with? If so, why?

Other

For the final version of the Toolkit, we plan to include links to any relevant local guidance or strategies (e.g. Local Nature Action Plans). Please let us know if there are any local strategies or plans you think should be included in the final version.
